Gastronomy

In The doçaria, a lot rich and varied, in Azeitão, is not difficult find small farm where try the famous pies of soft eggs and cinnamon.  Also there is the little cheeses of eggs, more sweet, or still the true cheese of Azeitão.  Of small size, and perhaps the most costly cheese produced in Portugal, this relic, of thin shell and buttered texture, is deed with milk of sheep and results of the slow draining of the curdled milk, after coagulation of the raw milk with flower of thistle.

Wine

The region of Azeitão is connection to the culture of the wine there are many and many centuries.  It produces the richest table wines and muscatels of Setúbal in Portugal and in the World, giving an important contribution for the image and prestige of our Portuguese wines.
